Laura Piper

BSc (Hons) PGCert (EFT) MCSP

Laura is a Chartered Physiotherapist with specialist post-graduate qualifications in working with riders and clients using Equine Assisted Physiotherapy.

She has a long background in neurology, orthopaedics and rehabilitation, which makes her an expert in the analysis of human bodies and their movement.

She is also an experienced rider, with the skills to deliver therapy programmes naturally alongside horses and has a clear understanding of the demands and challenges involved in equine exercise and care.

Movement analysis and rehabilitation

Whether a client is looking for help with their riding or specialist physiotherapy treatment working with the movement of the horse, Laura will undertake a detailed body assessment to establish any movement restrictions, weakness or postural difficulties.

She will then plan and teach a programme of exercises, both on and off the horse, that will work with clients’ own needs and lifestyle. Laura aims to make clients’ rehabilitation achievable and enjoyable, which optimises the chance of long-term success.

“Laura has done wonders for my own riding, as well as that of my clients”
